We highly recommend booking your flight by February 2027 at the very latest.

We recommend arriving in Sitka a day or two before the ceremoney on 4/3/27. It is a bit of a haul to get up here and we know you will want some time to hang out and rest before the festivities.

This is a child friendly wedding! So if you have a kiddo, or two, or multiple, we would love for them to come.

Sitka is in the middle of the Tongass National Forest which is the world's largest temperate rainforest. That being said, there is almost always a 50% chance of rain. The weather tends to be warming up arond April, so usually jeans and a sweater or sweatshirt is suffieicent. BUT, definitely bring a rain jacket just in case!

A rental car is not completely necessary but is nice to have. The city is walkable and we have taxis plus Uber and Lyft. We have AVIS at the airport, plus Turo and Sitka Car Rentals LLC.
